Thanks, Tracy! It does seem like the only things that are a consistent part of every author's journey to publication are patience, grit, and perserverance. (And maybe a dash of luck and definitely generous serving of humor).

And thanks for affirming that Wyoming stuff and the photos are compelling -- it's easy to keep writing about things we love!

And as for 1980s action movies...they're so ridiculous and so much hasn't aged well, but it's hard to beat Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman in "Die Hard"!

Lovely update and thanks for the shout out. I'm here to read whatever you post, as you are among my favorite authors ❤️

I love reading about your journey through the writing and publishing world. It's helpful for writers to understand how much work goes into getting a book published and how (it seems) that no two paths to publishing are the same.

I say just keep on sharing what you're passionate about - life in Wyoming - it's interesting and fascinating for readers in different parts of the planet. And WOW the photos are stunning, Ann. Keep it all coming!

I just rewatched Die Hard for the first time in many years after Lisa Cron mentions it in her "Wired for Story" book. The violence is ridiculous, but such a fun rewatch and there I was pulling for John McClane again. I also love seeing a young, evil, Alan Rickman character.

Thanks, Kim! It's been a long time coming on the novel, but I feel really good about this revision. Fingers crossed some agents and publishers agree!

Thanks, Judy! It's certainly been a process, but it helps so much having good people in my corner!
